Luigi Giusti

Giovanni Giusti, the son of Luigi, is a very dedicated winegrower who produces top wines with passion and drive.
The company, Luigi Giusti, still uses the grape variety Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. This variety had almost disappeared in the past but, thanks to the efforts of local winegrowers, has developed into a fruit of exceptional quality and represents the exclusive and typical taste of the Marche region.

The company is 12 hectares in size and entirely planted with the Lacrima di Morro d’Alba grape variety. The arrangement and shape of the vines is low and closer together than normal, so that 5000 tree stumps can be planted per hectare. As a result, considerably less manure is required, which benefits the environment and the taste of the grape.

Their spumante the "Bolla Rosa" was noticed in America by the high quality and was given during the meeting between Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin

Mazzola

Owner Manuel Giobbi and his wife Ilka run this beautiful vineyard.

The company is in a favorable position just 1000 meters from the Adriatic Sea, on a hill at an altitude of 70 meters, on the south-southwest, perfect exposure for the vine. The production of wine has very old roots here, as is also mentioned in the historical testimonies of the old marquis 'Sangvineto and Bandita', from which the wines derive their name.

"I get inspiration from the native vines, grown in our organically grown vineyards, to obtain modern wines with an authentic breath, of great elegance and balance."

This is the motto of the Mazzola vineyard and their idea of wine is inspired by the characteristics of the vineyard itself: earth, sea and important native vines. The Mazzola method starts here. They capture the essence of these elements and turn it into wine. They grow high-quality organic grapes through maximum dedication and attention in the vineyard with respect for the environment for ecologically sustainable agriculture. All their wines are at least 2 or 3 years old in their cellar, first in barrels and then in bottles. The natural aging techniques, sur lie and with continuous batonage, allow the wines to evolve and refine to reveal the complexity, elegance and balance that are characteristic of their style.

Mattei

Danilo and Stefania are the heirs of a historic family of Marches winemakers, in the area of Ancona. The family-run business originated in the early twentieth century,  when Danilo's grandfather cultivated the vineyard and the fields of his property. At the time, the grape harvest was given to the local wineries who made wine to be sold in the local market.

At the end of the 1950’s the company passed on to his son Mario and his wife Maria, who increased the cultivated area of vineyards and began to sell the wine directly,  first locally, then throughout Italy. Since the mid-1980s, Danilo and Stefania have been in charge of the company and have started cultivating the vineyards organically. The Tenuta Mattei brand was born in 2013 and now covers around 100 hectares of vineyards where the Verdicchio, L'Acrima, Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Merlot are grown. Annually, around 850,000 kilos of grapes fill 1,150,000 bottles with exceptional wine.

Terre di Serrapetrona

The Terre di Serrapetrona winery has successfully taken on the challenge of improving the ancient Vernaccia Nera vine. The agricultural estate extends over 66 hectares, of which approximately 20 hectares is used for viticulture. 80% of the vines represent the native Vernaccia Nera vine. In addition, the winery grows the Pecorino, Sauvignon and Sangiovese. The wines of this house are produced exclusively with own grapes of the Vernaccia Nera type.

Terre di Serrapetrona is located around 500 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Monti Sibillini National Park. The slopes of the estate are steep and face south and southeast. The climate has strong temperature differences between day and night and the proximity of the Adriatic Sea ensures a continuous thermal wind between land and sea and vice versa. The soil is marble-calcareous with fine white clay, rich in stony skeleton, which is reflected in the taste experience of this wine.

The pleasure of discovering something unexpectedly pleasant: this is the Vernaccia Nera. A variety with good vigor and medium-large leaves, winged and tight bunches, small black-purple berries, average peel and soft pulp with a slightly aromatic taste. A variety that, thanks to its microclimate, develops exceptional organoleptic characteristics
Even in Italy, the Vernaccia Nera is an almost forgotten grape variety that is of unprecedented quality. We are therefore extremely proud that this special top wine in the Netherlands is exclusively available at Nostro Vino.

Dezi

In the mid-eighties Davide and Stefano entered fully into the management of the business introducing agronomic and oenological practices aimed at further improving quality.

High intensity vineyards are planted and cultivation practices are introduced, such as short pruning, thin out the excess bunches and manual harvesting with further quality control, which have significantly increased the properties of the grapes.

At the same time, new wine making technologies are introduced in the winery: soft pressing, temperature control during the production process, barriques for the aging of wines.

The recent entry into the family business of Laura and Lucia, daughters of Davide, has improved the welcome and relations with customers.

We have thus increased the offer of guided tastings in combination with the products of farmers in the area, within the modern structure built in recent years.

Soon we will also supply the wines from the following 5 wineries below.

These wineries also grow their grapes in a responsible organic way

Piantate Lunghe is a winery in the soft and fertile hills behind the capital of Marche, Ancona, born from the will of Amedeo Giustini to restart the old family farm together with Roberto and Guido Mazzoni, two dear friends of the Giustini family. The two have added 8 more hilly vineyards on the slopes of Monte Conero to the old 4.5-hectare estate. The main vines grown here are represented by Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Thanks in part to the calcareous soil, low in substances but with a strong mineral structure, the Montepulciano grape undisputedly reigns as the prince of the varieties of this range, which synthesizes a very wide range of scents, colors, flavors and develops a high sugar content. when ripe and aromatic, necessary for the vinification of great red wines with an enveloping body and structure. The specialty of the Piantate Lunghe winery is therefore Conero red the "Rosso Conero". Full and structured, it easily withstands long-term aging, thanks in particular to the dense and pungent tannin structure that this category of bottles expresses in the early years of life, making it soft and comfortable over time.

Here in Moneteciccardo, where the Conventino vineyard is located, the four seasons still alternate with great precision and nature completes its cycle as almost no longer expected.

The memory of what has been is in the hands of grandfather Ilario. That memory they carry with them and which they will carry as the most precious gifts becomes a Conventino flag, supported and harnessed by the power of study and research.

Today pioneers in the production of wine and extra virgin olive oil, we have worked to share the fullness of the essence of this country thanks to a range of healthy and sustainable products.

The Piano di Rustano estate is located in the high Terre Maceratesi, in a hilly area where the cold Apennine climate that crosses central Italy is partly mitigated by its proximity to the Adriatic Sea. The strong temperature fluctuations between day and night, typically at an altitude of 400 m, affect the biological activity of the vine and consequently the quality of the wines produced.
It is worth telling the story of the oldest vineyard on the estate, about 70 years old and made with an old variety of Malvasia. Composed of rows at 1.65 m distance, it is not possible to enter with tractors. All processes are therefore carried out strictly by hand, from pruning the branches and cutting the grass to harvesting.
The basement is located on the ground floor of the Piano di Rustano Palace, which has been occupied by the Lebboroni family for 4 generations.

The wine company "La Torre del Nano" was born from the passion that the Seghetti family has always had for the cultivation of vines and wine.
The company, of approximately 9 hectares of vineyards, is located in Offida, and is set in the fascinating landscape of the Picene hills, 300 meters above sea level, between the Ascension and the Adriatic Riviera. The mild climate, the characteristics of the soil, the careful selection of our vines and their excellent location in combination with an exclusively organic wine management guarantee the production of wines of excellent quality. The vines they have always cultivated are both the native of the traditional vineyards of the Marche hills and the immigrants who have perfectly adapted to the territory. So in addition to the vines of Passerina, Pecorino, Verdicchio, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, the Chardonnay, Tokay and Chabernet are also grown.

To them, making excellent wine is not a job, but a dedication, a philosophy of life, where the unbridled love for their country and all it offers us leads them to respect it by trying to get the best it can give them.

On a lonely hill not far from the famous "ermo colle" so loved by Leopardi, the Guesthouse and Winery is completely surrounded by vineyards where you can see the oldest Verdicchio vines, more than 50 years old and the Sauvignon Blanc . To the south-south-east are the Lacrima vines, as well as other Verdicchio vines planted three years ago. Following the natural rolling hills to the east and northeast are the recently planted Syrah vines. All 20 hectares of vineyards in front of your eyes embrace, protect and envelop the winery. The farthest plant is 500 meters from the winery and this very close proximity is a great advantage during harvest. If you look to the east, you will see the Adriatic Sea and to the west the Monti Sibillini, known as the "blue mountains". The sea breeze blows through the vines every day, the rows of which are slanted so that they can slide between them. The air flows through the leaves and fruit, takes the moisture away and removes the environment where mold could otherwise grow and bloom. At San Marcello and especially in the vineyards, the average temperatures are optimal.

The Gurerriere vineyards are located on the southeast at 200 meters above sea level, which extends over 48 hectares of land.

Most of it is on the east bank of the Metauro River, where the vineyards and cropland are. Its formation consists of greyish calcareous mud, which turns light blue only a few meters deep. The vegetative soil is predominantly silty clay loam. The grapes they grow are Bianchello - Verdicchio - Chardonnay - Moscato - Sauvignon - Sangiovese - Montepulciano - Lacrima - Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Ciù Ciù organic winery is located in the heart of the Piceno hills, in Offida (Ascoli Piceno), in the Rosso Piceno Superiore production area and the vineyards extend over an area of 150 hectares.
